What ChurnNote reads

• Subscriptions: status, plan, price, cancellation and expiry dates
• Subscription invoices: failed payments and recoveries
• Customers: name and email
• Products and variants: the plan name shown next to each churned customer
• Store: confirms the store ID you connected is one you own

What ChurnNote cannot do

• See card details. Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record and never exposes them
• Issue refunds or move money
• Modify or cancel subscriptions
• Read orders or customers outside the store ID you connected

Permissions you grant

• A Lemon Squeezy API key from Settings → API
• Your store ID, from your store URL

Setup

1. 1In Lemon Squeezy, go to Settings → API and create a key
2. 2Copy your store ID from app.lemonsqueezy.com/stores/YOUR_STORE_ID
3. 3Paste both into ChurnNote. The store is verified before anything is saved
4. 4ChurnNote registers a webhook with a signing secret unique to your store

Events ChurnNote listens for

• subscription_cancelled
• subscription_expired
• subscription_resumed
• subscription_created
• subscription_payment_failed
• subscription_payment_success
• subscription_payment_recovered

Security and key storage

• The API key and the webhook signing secret are both encrypted at rest
• Every webhook is signature-verified against your store’s own secret
• Reconnecting prunes stale webhook registrations rather than stacking duplicates
• Deleting your ChurnNote account deletes both secrets
